I have two upcoming events next week which were put together by wonderful friends. I’d love to see and talk with you, so please come on by! No RSVP is necessary for either. Come and go as you can.
Yard signs will be available for pick-up. If you are unable to attend an event and would like a yard sign, please reply with your address, and I will drop one off at your house.
Friday, March 24, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., at the home of Russ and Monica Ybarra, 3006 Sunset (at the corner of Belmont, directly across from Weir Park). Russ and Monica are the family behind Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen; Russ was named UH Downtown’s Social Work Person of the Year in 2020; and their home was recently featured in Luxe Magazine. Light food and non-alcoholic refreshments will be served. The whole family is welcome to the meet and greet.
Saturday, March 25, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., at the home of Ned and Cathy Graber, 4209 Riley (between West Point and Community). Ned and Cathy are both West U Rotarians and long-time supporters of our community. After a day at the ballpark, in the garden, or running errands around the town, this is a great opportunity to cool off in the company of friends and neighbors; please join us for a scoop! The street will be blocked off, so children can bring their scooters and bikes and adults can bring your chairs to sit in the shade and talk.
I look forward to seeing you around our City!
